That character may admit evil and commendable aspects which could cause them to have three-fold personalities. In The merchant of Venice, by William Shakespeare, loan shark- the most controversial character in the play, is a predominant example of one of those characters.There are many unlike reasons why loan shark is considered a villian. Firstly, Shylock is the villian of the play, because of his hatred towards Christians and others just about him. Secondly, Shylock is a villian, because he is a greedy notes lender.
